Participate in our Volunteers programs
Ami’s volunteer programs offer plenty of options and flexibility, so that you can choose the program that best suits your schedule and your preferences. Here are some of the programs you can take part in:
A full day of volunteering for individuals and for groups
- An 8-hour day, filled with unique activities with our beneficiaries.
Once a week
- Tutor a tenant – Leisure activities all fun and games, following a customized plan and supervised by the facility’s social worker.
- House call – engage in arts & crafts, cooking and other indoors activities, at a beneficiary’s home.
One-time deal
As part of the national “Good deeds day”, we offer customized volunteering activities to individuals or groups, including:
- Painting community centers
- Gardening
- Hosting holiday events
- Entertainment shows
- Sports activities

Ami Association operates a variety of programs, meeting all the needs of people with mental and developmental disabilities and their families:

Bet Cohen Center – Housing accommodations for people with mental and developmental disabilities.

Independent living accommodations – Living accommodations for adults (21 and over), with high level of functioning.

Day care centers – Day care centers offering personalized treatment and occupation, according to each patron’s individual capabilities.

Post school care – Extended day care programs, at special needs schools, for students under 21, with mental and developmental disabilities

Unique occupational facilities – Personalized occupational programs for people with mental and developmental disabilities.
